Russian Holidays

This day marks the birth of the modern Russian state. The 12th marks the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Russia. This is a public holiday.

In Russia Day there are patriotic holiday concerts held all over the country, and in the Kremlin, state awards are handed out. In the evening, when it gets dark, you can watch lots of the fireworks.
